I just got my new hooks in from Float It Tackle. They have VMC Wide Gap Worm hooks now for $2.40 a pack. That is a low price for a thick hook. I think VMC is what Mike L. uses on BASS. I took a picture of my new hooks. Try them out maybe this weekend. I am still waiting for their trick worm but I guess it takes time to get a lure right.

We hit the lake 8-17-13. Me and my Dad. My Dad has bad knees so he comes with me now and then. Sucks getting older, anyway we got 9 bass. The best 4 bass were 4.3 swim jig, 3.2 floating crawfish beaver bait, 1.5 swim jig, 2.5 beaver bait. We had couple short strikes just hitting the tails of the floating beaver bait. We tried something new and took rage trailer off and used the floating crawfish. I think they were finicky because of the short striking. www.floatworm.weebly.com
