Ham,thanks for the response. It sounds like the crossfire rod is what I'm looking for. I've been a trout fisherman for heck 35 yrs. I mainly used bait -meal worms, very
small crawfish, etc. I'm retired now and would like to get into micro-jigging and regular jigging for a new challenge. One of my buddies got into micro jigging and I'm
impressed by the fish he catches (I taught him how to trout fish). The problem I'm having is finding a suitable rod,the rods are either too whippy to bounce the jigs
but throws them fine or else they are to stiff in the tip to throw them but bounces them nice. Then I ran across Richard's website and it sounds like he's got all the kinks out. I have used a 5'6" light action with an old Lew's speed spin reel-one of the original ones and am looking to upgrade to a 6'6"to a 7' or even a7'6" rod.
My buddy had the same problem trying to find a jigging rod so he had one made-now don't get me wrong it's an awesome rod "BUT $450.00" I don't think so !!!
thanks again Ham
