  1. Okay guys here's my plans. Got a 25p tempest and raise motor to 2 inches below pad. Going to go try this weekend and see what it does I am also going to pit 23p trophy back on with motor at 2 inches below pad. Wish me luck. I will let u all know my findings.
  2. Last weekend I unloaded at Mutton Creek, most of the dock was out of the water but could still launch there, was three trucks there and about 4 across at the other ramp.
  3. Does anyone know of some clearer water on the lake ? Was up last weekend and main part up lake from Mutton Creek to 215 was pretty dirty. I am wanting to wet a line this weekend and would like some more cleaner water to fish
  4. Smbasser I have put it on there not much said tho. I am sure I will probably get some feedback back from there. Thanks guys for your input
  5. Bow lift is okay but think it could have more. It seems to me that Im not getting enough lift. My old boat I knew when it got on the last pad.
  6. I have a 10 inch jack plate on boat, 4 blade I can get 68 to 70 mph out of it with motor at 3.5 below pad. The three blade with 3 inch below got 65 mph out of it but the drop in rpm's i don't like, I did try a 25 pitch three blade and blew it out coming out of hole. Some of the readings sounds like maybe i need to just go back to 4 blade and call it good. I will check on bassboatcentral and see what feed back I get. Thanks guys
  7. Have a 2009 Pro Crafft 210DC with 225 Opti Max. Is there anybody out there running same boat and if so whats Your set up?? Been running four blade 23 pitch and motor at 3 and half inches below boat pad, Trying to get a little more top end speed, Put on three blade 26 pitch and motor 3 inches below pad. Boat came out of hole pretty good, RPM's came down from 5800 RPM's to 5400 RPM's at wide open throttle and ran a little slower ( but got to keep in mind water was a little rough yesterday ) Guy that was watching boat run said had tall rooster tail and really kicking out. Any ideas of what I can do to be able to run three blade? Also when letting off quickly boat really had bad torque steering, I am thinking about dropping motor back down some but I know when i do that I am will lose more RPM's. Any thoughts????

  9. Pretty dirty Can't see trolling motor.
  10. Fished Saturday, Water temp anywhere from 38 to 41 degrees and water still pretty dirty didn't see any trash on main lake. Water got pretty rough before we left.
  11. Went up Saturday to run boat and fish a little. Launched at Mutton Creek about 12:30. Ramp is still pretty much pulled up out of water. To my surprise water was pretty dirty couldn't see trolling motor. We fished up from Mutton Creek didn't catch any fish. Did graph a lot of fish in 40 to 50 ftw suspended about 30 to 20 ftw water temp anywhere from 38 to 41 degrees.
  12. I will do Walcrabass.
  13. thanks guy for your info. I have got to rebuild my lower unit on motor next couple of weeks and hopefully I do it right and I will get to do some fishing. I will let you all know how it goes. Again thanks Justfishing
  14. Walcrabass, Thank you Sir for that input. That's just what kinda of info I am looking for. I don't mind working for fish in summer month but thought I would try and get some inside so hopefully I don't get discouraged. Thank for the concerns of a fisherman...... Thanks Justfishing
  15. Advise for someone that has not every bass or crappie fished in the winter month's???? In the years pasted after September the boat would go up and not come back out until April or May.
  16. Thanks to all the inputs guys. I guess I should have looked at forum Friday. This is how we done Friday hit water 6:30 Buddy caught a few fish on senko bait and I did not have a bite all day, I was throwing everything I could think of buzzer baits - pop r - spinner bait- crank baits - and jig and pig. Saturday stated out early again same thing buddy caught a few, did take me long to change to a finesse worm, I got broke off three times during the day relined reel and caught several fish a day, Sunday again threw a few different baits but no taker all of our fish came off finesse worms and senko's and we fish out on the bluff's ( Main lake ) and just inside the coves any further back in the coves we could not get any keeper fish, those fish were just biting the ends of the worms. our biggest fish of the weekend came off bluff with quick drop and it hit a senko as soon as it hit the water. I would say the 50 % of the fish we caught was right on the bank and the other 50 % were out in 10 to 15 foot of water. Nice lake I will fish again!!!!
  17. I thank you guys for your input. Riverwhy that is my biggest concerns, but I guess on the lake is better than being at home. Flysmallie thanks for that input. Need to get them lines wet again Sir. Fishinwrench It's nice to have them old journals to look back and if my memory is correct that is when the hula grubs were the thing, It's kinda funny you talk about grubs I was going threw all my tackle and found a old plano box that is full of old grubs and heads, I haven't use them in years , Maybe i need to put them back into boat and give them a try. Thank again guy's. I will post next week on what I found this weekend
  18. Okay guy's I posted last week about bass fishing on this lake and got one reply to the post and I thank that person for the reply, had several views. Beginning to think not much bass fishing going on this lake not sure if not good for bass and just good for Muskie and Crappy . Just looking for info for the lake and what the bass are doing. Coming up this weekend. Also what you all think this cold front is going to do to the fishing?
  19. Anyone do any bass fishing over the weekend. Planning a trip up to lake in a few weeks, I have never fished this lake before.
  20. Thanks Phillip for the reply. We fished Stockton Lake Saturday and we caught a butt load or bass but all from 6 inches to 14 and 3/4. Stockton has been rough for me this year and a lot of other people I have talked to. Just a strange year I guess.
  21. what are the bass doing on Pom me . Planning a trip in the middle of the October, Be looking at some post and see a lot on crappie but nothing on Bass. Just curious if there is anyone out there that are fishing for bass and having any lucky??
  22. Fished from 7 to 4 today caught a butt load of 13 to 14 and 3/4 inch fish. None on top water in morning and a few on crank baits did best on shaky head and 7 inch finnese worm in timber flipping up to tree and letting it fall 20 to 30 ftw buddy did caught a few on 10 inch worms. Fished shallow and deep deep seemed better.
