Treble hooks in fingers is a nasty experience. A $10 BPS gripper can eliminate the risk (the Boga Grlp knock off). May cut down fish jnjury, too.

He contended that lack of suitable oxygen content (? > 7ppm) at a trout-livable temperature year round (< 72) would limit the numbers. This thread is the largest discussion I've seen about this topic.... anyone interested in continuing it?
