Treble hooks in fingers is a nasty experience. A $10 BPS gripper can eliminate the risk (the Boga Grlp knock off). May cut down fish jnjury, too.

Caught and released a 20" rainbow on a Texas rigged red shad 7" Culprit worm in Fall 2008 off Deer Bluff on the King's. Led to a back and fourth with DNR Fisheries Biologist Shane ? about how frequent trout could be in TR. He contended that lack of suitable oxygen content (? > 7ppm) at a trout-livable temperature year round (< 72) would limit the numbers. This thread is the largest discussion I've seen about this topic.... anyone interested in continuing it?
