Bass Fishing Man 62

Tubes are great baits but smallmouths being intense feeders tend to come behind and suck it in, therefore swallowing the tube... it’s hard to tell until they load up on the bait ... any thoughts on how to help stop this??? Mono vs mono &braid, longer tubes , different styles of heads.. Would like to hear some opinions... Thanks!

I recently bought a C Map chip so I could use it to shade countour depths . I have an older Lowrance HDS 7 and some of the portions of the White River will not pull up. Virtually all of Beaver is available and it works great. Anyone experience this or have used the C Map chips?? I also tried this on my Lowrance gen 3 and same thing...
