    Was up the James River arm around Walnut Springs yesterday. Saw 1 other fishing boat and no rec boats or jet skis. I wouldn't want to play in that area with all the floating logs and trees just under the water. Someone would get hurt!

    Hi everyone! Thank you for allowing me to join your forum. I love the outdoors wether I am hunting, fishing, or just being part of it. I mainly fish Tablerock, Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals but am known to venture up to Stockton. I am excited to learn from you all on here and maybe meet some of you while out on the water. I am not good at catching but sure do love to fish!

    I appreciate the offer Griz. I think I am just gonna save some time and money and continue without one. I have read on other sites that they greatly reduce speed when on open water.

    I just started fishing Bull Shoals and am curious if there are blue cats in the area between Powersite dam and K dock?

    I have a 16' jon w a 40 horse prop. I have been considering a River Runner prop protector but not sure it is worth the money. Does anyone have experience with this product and does it work?
