On Friday they released at 10 am till about 11. The lake rose to about 704.3 and then quickly dropped. During the run the fishing was fast and then it slowed considerably.

Just last week I along with some friends boated on Taneycomo till we came upon some wader fisherman. We pulled to the side got out of the boat and started to wade fish. It was a beautiful day with many boats out and only one boat motored past us. They were courteous driving very slowly till they passed the wader fisherman and then proceeded up stream. I rarely boat past the MDC ramp with no water running but have seen others. The ones that I spoke to were not familiar with the lake along with one idiot jet skier that I don't want to get started on.I certainly don't want to see boats banned from this area I think people should use some common sense and respect the rights of others and operate safely.

I also live locally and my fishing buddy is right down the street from the ramp. It's not the best ramp around but it is convenient. I wonder if they have a business license and corporaion status to legally collect that money?

Hopefully they will test downstream toward Rockaway beach where it is deeper and easier on propellers.

Trying to stay in the channel at lower water conditions with boats floating the edge is sometimes frustrating. The best advice is slow down and say HOWDY as you go by.
