I was fishing on the other side of the bridge n worked my way towards the bay near the channel, I did see the two pirates you speak of trolling around the islands.
I kept 13 whites, 1walleye
didn't keep: 5 catfish, 1bluegill, n lost two big something.

how fast would you be trolling at when drifting live bait? Seems like everytime I troll at 2 mps, my bait seems to just be gliding through the water n not swimming at all.

just mainly trolling on bottom bouncer, already tried night crawler n it produce couple good size walleyes, wanted to try n see if the gulp alive crawler would work the same, since u can eliminate the panfish n won't lose as many crawlers
