Why would I keep that ugly beast

For sale only no trades please price is 550 plus shipping or 550 local pickup only. I accept PayPal and money orders. Location is springfield missouri area. I have for sale a very nice fltfishing setup that is brand new never used once. I have 1 brand new redington vapen black 6wt 4 piece rod the with rod sock and tube it comes with retails for $350 plus new. I have a brand new lamson guru 2.0 reel that's retails for $209 brand new. The reel is rigged with 100 yards of backing orange, and scientific anglers mastery series titan taper grey and orange which retails for $84 dollars. It does have a tipit on it atm which is a Rio powerless trout tapered leader 7.5ft 10lb test which is $5 a pop. Also throwing in a three pack of the same tipits which is another $13. The reel sleeve reel lamson sticker and box will be included. The rod comes with a lifetime guarenteed and I believe the reel does as well. I think 550 is fair considering if you ad this stuff up with tax I payed alot more then I'm asking. Once asking again this is brand new never been casted or seen water. I'm selling becsuse I have other things that have come up that are more important atm thanks guys for looking. Not in a hurry so price is pretty firm but offers are welcome. A rig on the biggest and river2sea topwater on that really pretty one. Both were caught fairly shallow both in around 10-15 feet

Every time I hit fellows I usually catch a nice muskie the first on was around 20 inches or so not bad. The next time around 32. And this last time I caught this and didn't get a chance to measure but I'd say 35 plus inches. Here is the one I caught earlier and then the bigger is the one I caught this sunday at fellows

Should I just fish with spinnerbaits, chAtterbaits or some beetlespins with white swim tail grubs?

I do have a kayak so I can out in wherever just looking to catch and release

I recently fished the James close to battlefield road from the bank and only caught one small smallie on a white grub and threw almost my whole tackle box maybe the fish where active I went on Tuesday so it was in the 50's and it was cloudy maybe that's not a good spot for em can anyone help. What's a good lure to use there. I also live in rogersville so is the Finley better for smallies?
