I'd like to someday hire bill even though I've been on trl several times. The two guide experiences I've had have been less than positive. Speaking of guides, is it required that the guides boat is used? Didn't know if it was part of the coast guard regs or what. I'd like to get a guide but take my own boat so I have all my own tackle available to me.

We had a slow Sunday too I was fishing a pb&j football jig and the girlfriend was throwing a biffle bug in green pumpkin. I threw a crank bait a little with nothing and caught one on a shakey head. Saw a lot of fish on the shallow flats but they seemed to have other things on their mind. Eating was not high on the list at least the ones we found. It was way different than the last 2 weeks where they were biting great.
