  1. That is pretty cool.
  2. Are you throwing into boat slips or shooting the gaps in the dock floats to get the jig actually under the dock itself?
  3. Walked the bank of Lake 33 last night for a couple of hours with my son. We worked chompers, worms, and baby BH. NO love. Not even a good bite. Noticed lots and lots of crayfish amongst the rocks along the shore. Thought for sure I'd get something on my chomper, but it was not to be.
  4. I fished 33 one time so far. Caught a couple in the 12-14" range, one in the 10" range, and one that was 16"+ that found a weakspot in my line. I plan on hit the 3x lakes a lot this spring/summer. Lots of shorts in lake #10 so far.
  5. Shimano symetre, shimano Sedona, pflueger president.
  6. Yeah, at Busch it is $5.30 total including tax. The keys are only specific to the lakes. So if you get to a lake and your boat number is waterlogged or just crappy you can unlock any boat on that lake. If you decide to change lakes, just go back to where you rented the boat tell em you'd like to swap for another lake, they will swap keys and you can get a boat on a different lake for no additional charge. I have my on TM and battery, pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
  7. Yeah, I want to check out 38, and hit the timber. I grew up catching bluegill on a cane pole from the spillway of lake 38
  8. I grew up, live, and work in St. Charles MO. I do a lot of my fishing a Busch CA, private ponds, and try to get down to LOZ to fish whenever possible. I mostly bass fish. My other passion is bowhunting. I hope to try and keep up with my fishing reports from my trip to Busch WA in St. Charles county. GP
  9. I grew up in St. Charles county and have fished and hunted at Busch CA my whole life. I have a battery and TM that I take out with me on the lakes, but occasionally I fish from shore. My son has bball practice near BWA each Tues and Thurs evening this year, so I foresee a lot of weeknight trips from the shore. Fished lake #10 A couple of weeks ago on a weekday evening, Worked the sunken trees along the darn, caught 4 short bass. All in the 9-12" range. This past Saturday (5/10/14) morning I fished 33 from a boat. I caught 4 bass once again. The first was a nice 17"-ish that hit a 12" worm, had a weak spot in my line a little ways up from my bait and it broke off right at the boat. Wasn't a giant, but a solid fish. I fished along the shore to the crappie dock then along the darn between groups of people. I caught the other three bass on chompers, two were 12-13", last one was real short. I got out their later than I wanted. Most all were caught about 10-15' off the shore. NOTE: the folks renting the boats open at 5:30am now. Think if I'd gotten out there good and early I could've done better at 33. Fished lake #10 again last night. It was cold and breezy. Had 3 hook ups. All on a Trig baby brushhog. Lake #10 is super clear, and the moss is starting to really grow. Wont be long and it will be tough to fish from the shore. Lots of trash and crap around that lake. Looking forward to hitting 33 again some morning, also will have a look at #28. Couple of other lakes I want to check out and see what I can come up with.
