It was my first trip there ever, and won't be back in the foreseeable future, so I'll spill the beans on how we did Saturday. We won a little 9 boat friendly tournament with 9lb 12 oz, with a mix of smallies, kentuckies, and largemouth fishing main lake points 10-25' deep with shaky heads and jigs. Caught one walleye on a shaky head also. We ended up culling 5-6 fish. Heard of a walleye guy that put 12 walleye in the boat, but not sure what they were doing. Fished for awhile Sunday after the cold front with the wind 180 degrees opposite of Saturday and the fish had mostly been blown off those points and we couldn't find them in any numbers anywhere.

I'm from Wildwood too, and run the Meramec quite a bit. I would specifically avoid the company out of Eureka, and the one out of Moselle. Unless you like paddling a ton along dead stretches, you are better off going upstream of Meramec Caverns, or to the Huzzah, etc..
