  7. Just wanted to give an unsolicited endorsement to Greg Seaton. I have used Greg for Several years now. The last two years I gave been taking my kids. I have twin 7 year old boys and a 8 year old daughter and Greg is helping me introduce the to the joys of fly fishing. He is very patient and they always catch fish, and occasionally get to drive the boat. Greg is also active in the local Trout Unlimited chapter and is a real steward of the river. You won't be disappointed. http://www.littleredflyfishingtrips.com
  8. I may have to buy me a 48 inch boat for a retirement gift. I traded the guy a 1980 bass tracker 16ft that I haven't used in a couple of years so now I have two trout boats! I can notice a difference in the stability, partly because of the width, and partly because the pedistal style seats make it easir to move around when I am working with the kids. I will be posting the Shawnee for sale soon.
  9. I have a 20' x 30'' shawnee. Older model, wood rails. Great boat that I us on the Little Red. My problem is I have three kids, age 7 and 8, and it gets a little unstable when I am moving around with the kids. I found a 21' x 36'' River Rat. It looks like a more stable boat and I can probably pick it up for 1800. Question is will the width help with stability?

  21. I picked up a used minn Kota endurance 30 trolling motor . Hooked up to the battery (fully charged) got nothing. I pulled the head off and found both the red and black battery cables seemed to have been hot at the switch that the tiller handle connects to. Motor seems to turn free. Can you replace the switch that controls forward and reverse?
