I used a crayfish pattern I bought at Academy. Fun fight on a 6 wt! I need to learn how to tie these, expensive at the store :-)

Took my Kayak out a couple of Saturday's ago and found a few smallmouth. This was just over 15". Fun fight!

I have been to the Mill but I have not fished it. I ended up going on the whitewater in Bollinger County and caught a few smallies on the fly. Nice trip. I'll probably be out somewhere this weekend.

Just joined the forum. I recently moved here from Texas and I love to fish. I am really enjoying the clear streams here in SEMO and have found a new favorite fish to catch, the smallmouth.
