Has anyone ever fished the large slough south of the train trestle on roark creek.Ive heard rumors of large crappie but i dont know much more.It looks like it should have large fish but Ive never seen even a splash while sitting in traffic.I have very seldom but have seen one man float boat in there.I wanna try but dont wanna waste my time if its dead water.Thanks.I havent even seen geese in there, wonder why?

Thats why i like to crappie fish.You dont see them, you have to figure out for yourself where they are and your feet stay dry.Then you can go to your house and shuffle some cards and drink sodas with your friends

rs.......................is there a lenth limit on crappie in creeks? I was wonderin cause you can fil up on 9 inch crappie in bull creek but i have never kept a single cause of doubt of law.I will tell you one day in june last year I caughtprolly 75 crappie in a deep slow pool in bull creek but they all were kinda small.Also water was very clear and white bass where cruising in the pool .I love to wade fish and this was boat fishin but it was possible from bank.

rs ive caught crappie in bull creek also, but not up past the backwater<lilley pads>, i guess reason would be boat wont go much further up.I was wondering where the crappie caught above the dam by the home docks or down towards the car lot.Ive always wanted to fish the creek below but never have, also ive always wondered about the little ox bow east of highway 65.It looks good but ive never seen anyone wading there.Oh i never caught crappie of any size in bull creek though>Are there large ones in there?

I was wonderin.Are browns good to eat?Some people do fish for the chance of a good meal provided to them by the Lord.I am not a trout fisherman, as I prefer crappie and other assorted warm water fish.It is a delacasy to me and my family.If this gentleman had a great day, if he eats his catch with vigor and if he follows all the prescibed rules of engaugement ,hooray for him.

Hey goggeleyed ,my son is in those compititions to, hes a trumpet player for Branson, I saw campdenton in Springfield last saturday and was very impressed.I wish our band was back up to its glory days butit will take a while to pump them up again.IF anyone in this forum want some fantastic day long intertainment , you need to go to one of these compititions. The gate fee is very small and the intertainment is great.Plus everyone there knows someone in the band and is grinin from ear to ear. by the way, did you have a motorhome and cookers set up in the sms south parkin lot?I was bout to go over and get a sandwich
