If this is in theory only true, why can table rock be at powerpool levels or within a very few feet and stay that way for weeks on end as bull shoals lake drops 20 or more feet to sand bar levels on dry months.The lakes need each other.One as an overflow, and the other as a spigot.

It would be nice if they could keep the lake at the normal current powerpool.Im assuming it may generate higher then we are used to lake levels.This would help the upper part of the lake with the fish populations.It would be nice to fish a level that would be more like a lake then a sandbar filled river.This i believe is also in theory becuse the water has to come from somewhere and Table rock will not be drained for the sake of bull shoals im sure.

you dont suppose the police sitting at Ihop might be strapped by the high price of fuel in their town and are ordered to centralize in the community, to wait for calls.They do lots more then give speeding tickets folks.Also next time you drive through a highway workzone, and see men standing , dont assume they are getting rich on your dime.They are hard working individuals that have certain tasks givin them to get done in a ready fashion.Youve heard hurry up and wait, sometimes that also plays in the hand.

Hey guys. All cars behave differently.The operator is not the only key.Automobiles that are not maintained properly are the biggest waisters of fuel,PERIOD,.. It doesnt matter what you drive , gasoline only makes so much energy when burned.The heavier , larger , boxier vehicles will suffer more on the highway then the smaller vehicles.The larger more powerful vehicles benifit by not having to work as hard as the smaller underpowered vehicles.The harder you work the faster you wear out.6 of one and half a dozen of the other, if you own a vehicle your gonna have to pay to drive it.I certainly hope you are not so strapped by everyday bills that gasoline keeps you from enjoying the ozarks.You dont have to drive 80 miles to get a pizza, you can enjoy simpler things closer to you homes.Go visit a neighbor, take a walk with you wife ands kids,dont run up and down the lake wide open hoping nobobys at your favorite stump.slow down and smell the roses.

caddis I also have a large tank with easy fish, gold fish and shiners.I think they are just as pretty and are also my fishing barometer.I mean whats a 50 gallon tank but a small lake.I can tell the differance when a front is coming in just by the slowing of activity in the tank.The fish exhibit schooling also.Kinda fun to watch.

I love it.I wish I could come across fish like that on a float.You seem to have the finley figured out.I am wondering, are there any below the dam, where the river goes behind the jeep dealer.I have never fished it but it looks good.Also I asked before but didnt recieve an answer.The curving ripple, just east of the highway 65 bridge, looks very good to me but have never seen anyone there.Have you fished this? Im thinking the earthen part of the dam would be the spot for the large cashe of explosives.Im not so sure table rock dam is high on the list.sure would be easier for a truck bomb at the grand palace.couple thousand people there and all you got to do is walk away from the uhaul.WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK OF THIS STUFF UNLESS THE TERRORIST WERENT WINNING.

I would imagine Table rock dam is on the secondary strike nuclear attck list.Infrastructure destruction. saturday evening and sunday morn, swan was up slightly and clear.water had current to it but not much.carp, suckers, shad, and a few very large white bass were cruising all day.I caught a few fish and visited with folks I havent seen in years down there.Kinda like a high school reunion with out the goofy slideshow
