  1. I have a lightly used Jackson Coosa looking to sell or trade. Extras: -Lowrance Elite 3x fish finder with sun cover -seadek Kit -Garmin eTrex 30 GPS with RAM mount -Jackson Sweetcheeks airbag seat -26ft Flexi dog leash anchor I love this kayak but I'm a bigger guy so I'm wanting to move to a Jackson big rig. $1000 OBO or trade for big rig. Let me know if anyone is interested.
  2. We seemed to do better just before the riffles next to any type of cover. Wood seemed to be pretty popular.
  3. Today my brother and I floated 13 miles and caught around 40 smallies. He caught one that was 19 and 3/4 inches, I caught two 18" smallies, and he caught another 3 over 17". The others averaged around 15". It was one of the best days I've ever had size wise. Just had to share! Gotta love smallmouth fishing!
  4. Exactly. I understand the more cast the better the odds. Kind of self explanatory. I'm just wondering what people think is the best time for smallies.
  5. I am curious as to if anyone has better luck in the morning for smallmouth or mid day. I've always fished largemouth growing up and earlier morning was always best. They seemed to be more active. Last couple of years I've really gotten into the smallmouth. I always get up super early and drive a couple hours to do a float. I never really do all that well then as it gets hotter the smallies bite a bit better. Am I wasting my time getting up so early??? Is this something others have figured out or am I just overthinking it??

  14. What kind of each? Leaning more towards canoe but the right kayak I'd be ok with also. I have a Jackson Coosa. Looking for nice canoe so my fiancé and I can float but she also enjoys a kayak for herself. Something easy to paddle

  17. I'm trying to do one last float this year before I put the kayak away for winter. With all of the rain lately, does anyone know what the water on the Meramac around birds nest lodge looks like right now and how soon it drops and clears up? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  21. I have a jackson coosa that has never seen the water. Brand new and need to get rid of. $900 thank you in advance

  23. I like the solo floats. It's a bit of a drive for me sometimes to get to some of the rivers and streams I enjoy fishing. My brother is the only person I go on these trips with. Sometimes the company on the drive is where most the conversation is. Once on the water we tend to fish opposite sides of the river and is rather quiet. But I see it both was. Either way I'm on the water and happy
  24. I have a 2012 jackson big tuna for sale. It's in great shape and well taken care of. Comes with a $110 paddle. Asking $1200. Located in Jefferson City.
