I have not had any difficulty catching fish, go to my same spots and do good I just back off a little since water is up have caught bass and crappie, I think sometimes all of us get overwhelmed with changes in area's we fish, you just gotta figure out what time of day is best to fish. Mine is before daylight and an hour before dark.

This lake has alot of 8-9 inch crappie an occasional 10-12 crappie. But the 8-9 inch crappie are really thick. This tells me the lake is loaded with crappie. I believe the big crappie stay deep I Will be focusing on that next weekend. This lake does contain quality fish but since there is no cover its a different ball game fishing.

Limited out on crappie Today 12 feet of water in short coves on minnows, and jigs

Ten feet of water for me yesterday evening at highpoint limited. Alot of shad also.

Was catching crappie in 10 feet of water around highpoint area on minnows yesterday evening. Baby shad schooling all over. Was not expecting crappie that shallow in a cove water temp 82.3 at 7:00 pm. Alot of logs in water. Be safe and keep an eye out.

I had a 1974 mercury 115 tower of power, first time josh had rebuilt carbs on that year it ran like a champ he went more than out of his way to get me on the water.

Sad to say but you guys are gonna have it rough, id reschedule it the bass and all other fish are messed up do to the storms and high water or I would fish it.

I was there to a really tough day had one trout rip a rod out of my boat, but that's what I get for not having it in the rod holder, went up to phils and got a gold rebel and wham fish on.and the tasted good, all my trout were pink inside -
Proud to be a part of, it led me to the lord.
