I targeted them yesterday in the river with no luck on cut shad,to windy, Monday morning should be good. I was in a few coves around high point they are there on my graph. On the bottom in the channels.

I fished highpoint cove at boat ramp like id mentioned, caught alot of big blues. Cats move around I have even caught a few on abuzz bait fishing for bass this time of year they are aggressive.cooler water does this they are starting to move up idd say go after the rains.

Crappie with eggs that is the cat was last year at this time.

I was there yesterday evening fished my spots with no luck, small females with eggs, threw them back gonna give it another shot Friday evening. Taking my cat rod to see what I can get using my cut shad.last year I got a nice one.

Really any cove around aldrich is good, I use cut shad and night crawlers, under a 4inch styro float, 3 1/2 feet down in 6-8 feet of water.

Pick a cove there spawning late, calm wind the best before dark id say after this weekend they are done. To many carp on spawning coves. Water temp at highpoint 72.6. 69.8 towards cedar ridge head up towards sons creek to keep freezer full good luck, sginers and chartreuse bobby garland with a light jig head

Crappie slow lot of wind tonight. Had big cat on that I lost pretty depressed about it was at least over 30lbs could not even move off bottom put up motor and trolling motor, messed up cut wrong line and lost it. Females here and there ill post pics of eggs.

All I could get was with shiners would not touch a jig and this was around highpoint yesterday evening they are moving up after suset.

Got to highpoint around 6:30pm had bites right away, wouldnt touch a jig. Fishing minnows at 8ft deep water temp was 68.5 got a limit in two hours. Females I caught are ready to spawn full of eggs, they are moving up after sunset. Some days they will nail jigs some days not, I would suggest taking shiner as well,bigger crappie go for shiners. Boats fixed and hopefully know one touches my trailer or their hair might stand straight up? good to have a cousin who works for an electric company.

Yes I caught one yesterday around highpoint area while I was fishing for crappie, was fun they put up a fight when water is cooler.

All you have to do is clean them put them in your cooler and go back after midnight, geez this is not that hard you should have 30 fillets with 15 crappie by a marker mark your plastic bag put them on ice. What's the big problem? Thats legal..... -
Fixed my boat this weekend even equipped my truck with a camera I can see on my phone, if my truck or trailer is approached I get an alert. This was not cheap.

yes you can carry in your boat, usually if they see it the will just run your name, they know people that are carrying them visibly are not a threat.
