Im also wanting to get some warmouth this year. Ive only caught 2 in my like, both from joachim. Anyone have a honey hole for warmouth?

I have a friend with property on MF so my access is private. Ive parked at 47 several times, the kingston family owns most the land around there and they will run you out if youre not in the water. And yea I wade joachim from walther park in desoto, its decent wading downstream to fountain city rd, and prettt good upstream quite a ways.

Im still trying to get that 18" smallie for a master angler award.My best is 16.5" on MF, using a gulp minnow.Got a nice 18" largemouth outta joachim last summer on a wacky rig

Right on! I seem to do best on 3" gulp minnows or 5" chart/pumpkinseed worm wacky rigged. But ive caught alot on nice smallies on mini cranks,jointed minnows,or crappie jigs. Have you ever fished the Bootleg access on big river?

Ive actually never fished the huzzah or cortois but its on my list this year. And yea the big does hold some nice smallies, biggest ive got out of there was 15"

Ive been thinking about trying an overnighter, like a 2 day canoe float and camp out on a gravel bar, that'd be fun!

Yes I do occasionally, I mostly fish mineral fork. But I have floated/fished big river from morse mill up to Rockford beach

I'm new to the OAF page, but not new to fishing the streams in and around the Jefferson county area. Looking to get some advice on fishing some new streams this year. Thanks for having me!
