Pretty much caught everything on a White Grub with 1/8 oz jig head, fishing main points. I'm not sure about the water temp. I wanna say it was close to mid 40's.
My buddy caught several largemouth and few whites between Aldrich and Orleans bridge on Friday. He went again yesterday to the same area and almost caught his limit on whites.
Wen to Aldrich bridge today about 4PM. Had a buddy pick me up in his boat. He was fishing between Orleans and Aldrich bridge before he picked me up. He caught several large mouth, 5 or 6 whites, and 1 crappie. On the way out I went to Orleans, got there about 6 pm. Caught 5 whites, 1 keeper. This weekend looks promising.
Take Hwy 13 North towards Bolivar. Take a left on 215 going west. Follow past Morrisville. Make a right on S 60th RD. Follow till it T's then make a right. You'll go across Taylor bridge, take first right.
I went to Aldrich this morning, no luck. A couple guys next to me caught a couple walleye each, with live minnows. It sounded like they been at it since early morning. Checked up river the little sac (Decommissioned & Taylor Bridge). The water was high and rising but murky.
I'm new to this forum and site, and love the information and tips! I'm in the Springfield area and I mainly go to Stockton and little sac arm. I also go to other lakes in the area like the rock and bull shoals, but not as much as I'd like. Looking forward to sharing reports, stories, and also gaining knowledge from everyone!
