I am planning to take son '3years old ' floating n fishing from dam down . has anybody floated and or fished this stretch lately . will be using ultra-light possibly fly fishing . any info would be great .

I'm new to O.A. I looking for advice for fly patterns that work on the niangua for trout . only floated it two times since moving here.

Iv been wanting to float n fish the upper and have never been .I have own canoe and van . Maybe meet at take out n leave one car n shuttle one up .
