Howdy folks as some of ya know Tami is a school teacher in Granby MO , 7th & 8th Grade math , The reason I fell in love with her is her passion for the lord and how much she love's teaching , Today she was informed that her name was mentioned during a boarded meeting that she might not be rehired . I sit here writing this and i know there's kids in her district that need a teacher like her , she is very passionate and she wants every student in her class to do well . We both have put it in gods hand , but please keep us in your prayers

Mrs Ducky and I were at Roaring River Saturday during opening weekend and she say's , I need to have Leonard teach me how to strip There's nothing more romantic then hearing your wife say she needs another man to teach her to strip Here line . Anyways yesterday fishing at Roaring River i would cast out a bit and then let slack line out of the reel and then slowly bring in line until i had a pile of line at my feet . Is this the proper way ? It did make it easier to cast and i was even getting some distance . Please help in answering my question. I dont want Tami taking lessons from the slow stripping mink guy A.K.A. Leonard

The shoulder is better , I was really sore the next 2 days but i did manage to fish both friday and saturday , i also fished yesterday a bit with Tim from Tims fly shop

Hiya OAF , Well I know its been a little over a week since opening day at the trout park's , Thursday Wow what a morning 3:00 am or so waking up too Tornado warnings and Sirens , Yes Terry and Leonard the same loud sirens I dont like . Well i got too the park at almost 4:30 am and to my surprise , There was ALOT !!!! of cars . The only time i have seen that many cars , was at California Speedway for a Nascar race . Anyways after finally finding a parking place right at the entrance of the park LOL , I decided i would walk all the way up too the hatchery pond area and wait for another siren , Well 6:30 am came , the siren went off , I heard a gun shot . and then looked at the water and it was total MAYHEM!!! Fishing lines everywhere (even places you wouldnt expect them to be) I was just so amazed . It was like a bad Jerry Springer episode . I did manage to catch 3 right off the bat , I then decided to hike back towards the car , Well then i saw a pool with a couple of really big fish (like Leonard big fish) and there was about a foot of open space that i could stand . This didnt work to well , I was standing on a rock out of the way and i slipped and feel onto another rock , I landed on my right front pocket side of my thigh , and inside that same pocket was my car key's and a pocket knife OUCH !!! , Well as many of you know im a pretty big guy and when i fell i also really hurt my shoulder . As soon as i could catch my breath i got up and limped to the car , This was an hour and a half into the day after the siren sounded . i headed home I did witness opening day , im thinking next year im gonna enjoy opening day from the couch @ home in front of the television

Howdy all , Well I called in dead too work for the next three days , And my work said they will not call me in at all So i am gonna fish both Thurs and Friday , If anyone wants to join me I will be at outlet 1 tommarow around 7ish and staying all day , I drive a greenish/Blue ford contour with a OAF sticker

Nice Phil , Well if it works out i will be fishing Taney tommarow , Friday and with Mrs Ducky and our son Saturday . Realized something bad yesterday Since Jan 23rd this year to today i will have worked 30 or more days and only had 4 days off (1 includes day off with flu) , But i am unplugging telephones and throwing cell phone in WATER . Heck who knows the fish might think of it as being a shocking type of shad Am excited i will stop into phils tommarow and pickup hats
