Whoa that would be a large living room , but living in a apartment with a 9 ft ceiling and it being 12 ft by 12 ft hasnt been a good ideal LOL . Note too self move into a bigger house , Im just gonna have to settle for the parking lot outside

I saw a stick-on ruler on a bench at a public access dock that had the formulas for trout, bass, crappie, and something else, and I think you are right. I remember thinking it would be handy to have, since it also listed the common weights for the different fish, but I don't know where to find one!

Howdy OA , Im gonna come down around 6 am or so on tuesday . Mostly just to practice with different flies . If any of ya want to meet up ill be driving a greenish/blue ford contour and be the one with the fly line stuck in a tree LOL . I also plan on staying there all day and going to the fly tieing class @ Lileys That evening if they have it .

So march 1st wouldnt be a good day to go and camp at a spot with a fly rod ?? LOL . Im just kidding on that last statement . We will be going down there before the start of the season to FF , And also going into Tim's .

Good news-I won the one on eBay. Bad news-Phil's had SEVERAL same price or cheaper! (Darn it!) Good news-I found a way to do it (I think) without it. Bad news-I won the one on eBay! Oh, well. I think it's fun, even if some of mine came out looking really funny so far. I will get the fur ant right!

As you may have noticed, my husband and I are new to fly fishing. We love Roaring River, we just usually use PowerBait and marshmellows in zone 3. Now that we are moving up in the world, other than using small flies in dark colors, any other advice for Roaring River specifically? And where exactly did you land that 22 inch???

Well i got too FF today at the get together @ Taney. I caught a nice brown on a brown leech after lunch . Man it was really cool , I want to thank Phil , Leonard , JJ,Russ & the others who took time to help me with Fly Fishing today , I have to admit i was so frustrated not having waders and trying to cast in the wind Not FUN!!!! lol but Phil should me some casting stuff and its become easier , >>>> note to self , practice casting in the living room , no wind ) lol but all in all it's safe to say Im hooked on Fly Fishing now .

WOW , All i can stay is thanks for everything . The food was great, the company was outstanding. This has been the best New Years for my wife and I , Phil thanks for the forums and having a great place for all of us too fish. That first vote, for NO, was cast by Mrs. Ducky! I doubt he would kiss me at midnight anyway. He'll either be bouncing around the place, so excited about tomorrow, he'll forget. Or he'll fall asleep, so we can get there earlier tomorrow. Either way, I lose! On second thought, maybe I should vote yes.....
