Got out today. Hooked up three and boated this one. HUGE bait balls up river. Plenty of fish on the graph but hard to pull them off the bait balls with brooders. Got to go soak in a tub of hot water now....

Fished between points 6 and 8 today. WT 62. Tough day on the water. Not a single school of surfacing fish. Marked a few small pods on the graph but they weren't taking brood minnows. Where have all the fish gone?

Same story for me. Fish blowing up everywhere. I started throwing topwater plugs. Fish swirling behind it, short strikes, three hookups, one fish made it to the boat. Crazy! Should have boated a half dozen or more. I had a couple hits on shiners under a balloon, but again, lost the hookup. Doooo! However, it was a bueatiful sunrise on the lake today.

Yea, I'm afraid you're right. I see no one bragging on the board. I usually go out of PC. May have to take a boat ride. I'll be chasing them by Tuesday next week.

Not a bad day of fishing...whitecaps and all. I'm planning a bit of vacation time next week. Sure hoping to see some good striper reports over the next week. WT is not dropping very fast.

I'm pretty sure I had a few Striper on the graph. And of course no live bait to be found. Made a few casts with the net with nada shad. Ran back to try and jig em up but again nada. After that frustration a few fish tried to start schooling but a bit out of reach and gone by the time I tried to slipped up on them. Did I mention frustrating! Fish all around and I got zip. Gonna hit it a few days again this week. Hoping the cool nights will get it kickin. Perhaps I can get my act together this time.

Saw similar pattern on Monday.. 9-10 AM trying to school up just before the clouds cleared but just couldn't get it together. Water was 80 at PC Monday AM.
