  1. I would like to bring my Lowrance unit in my office & connect to my computer to input some points. I already have a factory chip in my SD slot. What would power my Lowrance "away from the boat". AND can I save all my waypoints to an SD card & load onto my gps then put that topo card back in ? Or does it not work like that. Would I have to sit in the boat and enter all the waypoint coordinates manually & save each one.. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Bill
  2. Thanks.. Its the right thing to do..
  3. UPDATE: Thinking I MAY have to keep this multi-tool if unclaimed..... I opened it up & found the initials "RH" marked on one of the blades. If anyone knows someone locally with these initials that was SHORE FISHING lately let them know. There are other OBVIOUS IDENTIFYING MARKS the owner will have provide a specific ID. Sorry someone spent their hard earned money on this & lost it.. IF I have to keep it, I will make good use of it.
  4. Just found this a few days ago. Looks fairly new, but not yours..
  5. Anyone loose a LEATHERMAN type multi tool near Holiday Island ? If you can please describe, I will get it back to you. I know you want it back as it is in beautiful condition !
  6. Such good points ! Well at least it is a darn good weather radio and the batteries last a long time.
  7. Ok I will just use it for a weather radio & thanks everyone EXCEPT...... ya you.. LOL No idea why Waffle House doors have locks?
  8. I have an old Humminbird walkie talkie type weather radio in my boat. I have never talked with anyone on it- but my question is: Does anyone MONITOR the "Marine Radio Emergency Channel" ? Yes yes we carry cell phones, I am only asking because I want to know. Thanks for your input & not asking me questions like "why do I wanna know that, or why would you use that channel". Seriously, I just ONLY want to know.. LOL
  9. I took this photograph & had some of these made for sales at the galleries in Eureka. They just seem out of place next to my "art" pieces. These are still new in the box. Can I clear them out at $30 each ? Bill
  10. So far so good. Been using the best gas I can find ( on the water). fuel/water separator is clean, and I have not added any additives & seems to be running fine. I did some sun injector cleaner in one tank, maybe that helped... I guess if it aint broke don't fix it !
  11. Thanks. Hope I can find someone closer to Holiday Island.
  12. Im just looking for another free source of food !!! Not used for bait.
  13. Sorry to mislead, it is NOT my photo. Stock Corp of Eng. photo off the internet.
  14. Muddy bottom in brush 4 feet deep.
  15. I have a set of worn factory "snap in" carpets (with bindings) that Id like to replace (my deck boat no longer made). Buying marine carpet & installing the snaps would be the easiest, but id rather have the carpet edges bound so they will not fray. So, anyone know of a place near Table Rock/ Beaver Lake that can duplicate a carpet set from my old pieces ? Thanks for suggestions, Bill (Holiday Island)
  16. Near Holiday Island, A couple of days ago someone pulled up my Crayfish trap & kept 1/2 the trap & I assume its contents. They were kind enough to remove my name tag, re-clip the line & throw the other half of my new trap and marker back in the water. I will just leave it at that.
  17. I seen this at Holiday Island Marina. Very cool.. Holidays also shows WATER LEVEL at the dam. Is that an add on by the marina ?
  18. Still available.....
  19. FOLLOW UP ! Ran out the gas in tank. No water in separator. Filled with "better gas". Have not added any additive (seafoam) runs fine. Still dies occasionally when idling in gear when going to dock (which is a very bad place for the motor to spit & die). Other than that it runs just great ! Probably needs a tune up. (dock side would be great so I wouldn't have to pull out the boat & trailer it to a shop and be without it for 3 weeks)
