What did you buy this rod for and what don't you like about it? I have a X-14 and love it for 6XD's and DD22's. Considering a X-12 for wiggle wart type baits as well as squarebills and lipless crankbaits. From my experience the Phenix rods in general seem a little lighter than their rated action so my guess is that rod would be perfect for 3/8 to 1/2 oz crankbaits. Is the rod still available?
