I STRUGGLED today. Haven't fished in two weeks and my crankbait spots were dead today. Hoping to figure them out tomorrow. Only caught one small smallmouth on a jerkbait

the hardest thing for me was this June when we were working 6am to 11 pm and the top water bite was on fire and I'm 150yards from my boat at the dock. but there's 300 kids running around! Now that's tough

Vernon, I work on the lake at a youth camp, so I just go for a few hours in the morning or afternoon, now is a really slow time obviously the summer is crazy!! none of the fish have regurgitated anything shad or craws.... the jerk bait bite has not been there for me, I'm really wanting to learn and succeed with it though

Caught about a dozen with 5 keeps. Mix bag. all on wiggle wart but did catch two smaller fish on a RC STX. Thanks to Champ and others input the lighter line seem to help it get deeper. Lost two 3+ fish one off the RC STX and other wart all from 3-5 today

What pound test do you guys throw your jerk baits on? My main stay is 12lb mono for nearly everything. Any recommendations? Thanks guys!

I didn't take the time to notice Mike. I should go out tomorrow and I'll inform. I threw a Rick Clunn Jerk bait, but I never seem to get bit on it, I've tried a bunch of colors, I bought them a few years ago because they seemed a fair price, but have caught very few fish on it! Maybe I need to venture into the 20 dollar grabs just like the WP, but my spook is too good for me and way cheaper (23 year old with a new wife budget here)

Caught three keepers in an hour after work today wiggle wart. seemed to be wanting it a bit off the back at about 8-10 ft all identical to this one 16in kentuckies

Again caught fish on gravel points and runouts All different spots today. White bass on a spoon. And the big Largemouth on a Keitech rest of jig... non-worthy picture fish as well

Caught 5 today all quality and missed a HOG the size of Brett Bielema all on 1/2 ounce football jig 20-25 ft 5:30-7 this afternoon biggest is 19in sorry for the selfies my wife doesn't go with for better photos

Caught this walleye this evening on a wind blown gravel flat on a war eagle jigging spoon the afternoon bite had slowed down for me, but this was a tasty surprise!

Caught 10 fish this morning on a gravel flat 30-40 ft of water with fish suspended at 20ft Drop Shot and Spoon two white bass and a walleye for the frying pan as well I am new to the forum. I work as an Assistant Director at the Youth Camp with the Cross between Cambell and Baxter. If you see a young man (I'm 23) fishing in a 94' Charcoal Champion come say hello I would love to meet some fishing pals... Also, thank you for the reports... I will do my best to share my knowledge from this part of the lake

I would second the report. Went fishing today from 1-3p in the afternoon and caught 7 kentucky and 3 white bass all on a spoon in the same locations
