  2. Worked fine with IE and Firefox for me as well. The same short issue with AVG on link 2....but worked fine the second time I tried it. Blessings! Bill
  3. I don't know......a couple of quotes come to mind about this. 1) If you see somebodny doing something stupid, you have to tell them! Otherwise they think it's okay!!!! This might fit the OP situation a bit better. 2) YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!!!! I just move and keep on fishing. All the water's connected.
  4. Well I can match two-out-of-three. Modular 1/4 mile up from Taneycomo (no view) Half way between Rockaway Beach and Forsyth on paved road. 3 bedroom 2 bath 2 decks, one covered, one open. Small shed in back PM me if you want to. Bill
  5. My son is a Licensed, Master Plumber in Springfield. Give him a call 417-866-4488. "Franco American Plumbing".....really sure he can fix you up with whatever you need and can answer your questions.
  6. I love going right by the dam on that bit of concrete and doing the same thing. NEVER fail to catch bows on the powerbait or a small Mepps Roostertail.

  13. Hello Brain-Trust, Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a copy of "FLIES" by J. Edison Leonard? It was printed around 1950 and has some nice info on fly types, proportions and about 2200 patterns not seen much these days. Thanks in Advance! Bill

  16. I've not done the C & R thing as yet....but most likely I will this season. Seems like a good way to work on some skills without running the chance of hooking or fowling someone close-by. Bill
  17. Welcome Ed! Enjoy the forum!! I've been a part of OAF for awhile now and there is a LOT of great resources here. Talk to you soon, Bill
  18. Well...it's not a secret. But I like to fish just barely on the Taney side of the dam at Powersite. A lawn chair, my tunes and a cooler w/ munchies & soda. A GREAT day! Bill
  19. Thanks for the info! Am planning to get out there this weekend to check it out. Bill
  20. LOL! I might get some of the stuff just to see what it does. bill
  21. I did find a site that has a non-toxic / non-radioactive, green glow paint. States you can "re-charge" the paint many times and that it glows for about an hour with each charge....a bit less when charged with a flashlight. Might be on to something here. Thanks! Bill
  22. Hmmmmmm That does tend to make me think of a "night" version. Thanks!
  23. I was experimenting with making a dry fly the other day and ended up with a little thing that resembles a lightening bug. My question is...... Do fish eat lightening bugs?
  24. I'm planning on giving J.A.R. a shot this year. It's too close-by not to try!
  25. Just for my $0.02.....stay where you're at. My wife had to go the private route and it....so far....is not so good. It is a known company and the first time we needed to use it, they are trying to be difficult. We did look at the company that Phil posted...most likely should've gone with them. Oh well, hind sight is always 20/20. Bill
