Im surprised Super Dave hasnt chimed in by now. If I was going to be taking my child fishing down on The Rock I would tie on a Ned Rig and let them have at it. I dont know of a better bait for a child, wife, mother in law or anyone who is just getting into fishing. They can cast it or just let it drag behind the boat, ITS GONNA CATCH FISH PERIOD

Nice and informative video. I think the only better way to get info on fishing the little rig is to be in the boat with Dave himself (which I have had the pleasure of doing)and seeing how he fishes it

I would be willing to bet that Dave knows most of the fish in the area he fishes by name and gets reacquainted with all of them every year
