  1. Believe it or not he is the only one I have currently sent an email out to. LOL I liked his page alot and sent one to him as soon as I could. Im sure he is busy and I know I would rather be fishing the gulf right now also. Thank you for your feed back.
  2. Hey guys, just a quick question for everyone to gander at. I am planning on making a turkey hunting / Walleye/ crappie fishing trip the week of April 16th. I am meeting my dad there from up North and we will be camping at Mutton Creek as we do every year. I am possibly looking to hire a guide for early in that week to target walleye and crappie if we limit out and to pick someones brain. We do ok every year but every little bit helps. We have never had a guide so itll be an experience for each of us. Is there any one you guys suggest to contact or any you go against. I know it maybe a little late to start looking but we just decide to maybe give it a try.
  3. I'm gonna get down there this evening or possible tomarrow evening. Thanks RPS I'll give that side of the lake a try, anyone else fished around there lately? Can't wait to relax a little bit!!
  4. Could anybody tell me if there is an evening topwater bite around cambell point, she'll knob, big M areas? I was wanting to get out but with a new baby in the house I've got to be fairly selective in my days, if not could any one elaborate on how or where to catch a few fish? Keeping None at all, just looking to get out and rewind.
  5. My largest bass to date was caught while trolling for walleye early morning July 9th 2012, not a Monster but a solid ugly 6 lbs, shortly after about 15 minutes later my largest flat head was caught doing the same thing. 18lbs. bass near Roark and the cat near birch branch. Both released back right away, would love to have a replica done of the Bass as it was my largest lake bass but just to UGLY
  6. Gentlemen and Ladies, I am contemplating getting down to the rock to fish one evening, possibly friday or saturday night. Does any body have any advice to share on which are may be better right now. I live about an equal distance from either one. I just dont fish enough to know which has a better bite, if any, right now. And possibly what to try. id say ill put in around 7 or 8 and fish til midnight or so, just to get away from the crazies and try to relax a bit. Thank you for any help and these sights are awesome. You guys post some very good stuff. I normally spend most my spring fishing crappie and Walleye on Stockton and dont get to TRL very often.
  7. I am curious to any info anyone would like to share on if there is an evening Top Water bite around shell knob or cape fair areas. I came down a couple weeks ago in the morning and had a great time throwing a spook around shell knob but have recently purchased my first 2 WP and want to see what the craze is about. I know its slowing down so I may have to keep them tucked away for a year but it was worth the ask. Thanks Guys and Gals
