Boats coming out this weekend?

I'm sure most of you are already aware, but The Outpost has been sold and the bait shop now has a new owner and a new name. Forget the name, but a lady is running it now with the help of her kids and some friends. -
Haven't been to Stockton since I was a kid but will be there next weekend targeting bass. Any thoughts on Hawker Branch Cove or Umberland Cove? I'll be staying at the state park.

As a side note, I log my days in my Humminbird and have started to develop charts of the lakes. Go to www.navionics.com and check out SonarCharts in the Web app. Obviously I'll add more in March when the boats come back.

With this weather, the vegetation is just hanging on and dying very slowly. They cut the boats early because of the lack of people coming out during the week. I don't think at the time anyone was expecting weather in the 80s on Halloween. I know Ted would have liked to have them into November but he has to pay the bills too. So far this fall, bank fishing has sucked. The fish seem a bit confused with the water temp and are still holding very tight to cover. Makes it very tough from the bank unless you are willing to lose a lot of tackle.

Sunday the 16th will be the last day this year. Tackle shop will be open from 6am to 6pm.
