lol, funny, I run a division of USA Bassin on Table Rock in the fall and was just thinking the past few days that I would talk to the founder of that trail and see if we could start an immediate release format here on TRock this fall. The only problem would be how to monitor it. Would we have each fish caught captured on smart phone while being weighed in by the fisherman who caught it? Would have to have all scales used checked before takeoff for accuracy. And we couldn't afford the ipads etc that all the boat officials use or 'boat officials' for that matter. I love the MLF format and watch every episode, some of them twice. lol. It would be an advantage to me and those of us that catch numbers of bass, but not necessarily 5 big ones etc. And, those of you who commented about how FLW, BFL and others respond to this, you're correct, I've watched them price out most of the good local fishermen, even on their home lakes because 1200 to 4000-5000 dollar entry fees already eliminate 95% of the non sponsored fishermen who must pay their own way for a chance to just get their entry fee back etc. thanks for the info and letting throw my tidbit of info into the discussion! Hello, I'm fishing a 2 day tournament in the 3 rd weekend of September at Lake of the Ozarks. I have literally 'no' recent experience in fishing LOO, except for Warsaw in June, and Shawnee Bend night tournament in early August. I plan on pre fishing 3-4 times within the 2 weeks before the 23/24th weekend. I could use some advice or suggestions on what to fish and even where. I'm very familiar with Pomme, Stockton and parts of T Rock and can return the favor. I'm strong with crankbaits, spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, jigs, and tube lures. Not so strong with creature baits, shaky heads, ned rigs, carolina rigs, etc, as I haven't fished them that much, at least not recently. I did have some luck in early December last year hitting main lake points in the PB2 area during a club tournament. My club partner, in his boat won 1st in the tournament with 15.8 lbs, all caught on crankbaits, and I caught 1 3lbr also on crankbait, fishing the rock points of 3 main lake cuts. Realizing that the time period will be fall, not winter, I was wondering if a similar pattern would work, maybe further back in the creek arms, near docks or along channel swings/drop offs.?/ Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Has anyone else fished the west arm of Pomme de Terre in the past week? I was out all day Friday, at first fishing my usual mid- arm area from main lake to Goody's resort. My brother Alan and I fished from 830 am to about noon. Total, (1) 14.5" largemouth! Because I needed to check out my big motor (was having 'dying' problem to full throttle), I decided to motor down to far south of Lightfoot, an area of the lake I'd never fished! At least not for 20+ years. When I got down where the arm splits into 3 fingers, I decided to check the main creek heading west. On the point at the mouth of the creek arm, I noticed dozens of shad balls boiling all around me, stretching the full width of the mouth of the arm. Here is the list of all the baits I threw from about 1 until almost 6pm. DT10 Rapala Crankbaits, 3 different colors, Storm 360 searchbaits, 4.5" in crystal shad, 3 different lipless crankbaits, Strike King, sexy shad and chart.,sexy shad, 2.5 Square Bill, XD 5, and 4 S, covered the water column from 3 foot to 15 foot. Total fish caught.... 2 little 1.5" shad. Threw a tube in 2 different colors, missed one decent fish that picked it up and ran with it. I threw beside the shad, below the shad, through the shad, and several different topwater, on top of the shad.... No Difference. Has anybody else lately fished Pomme, and seen all the shad, and actually caught more that 1 keeper bass? Loved to hear how you did it!! Randy

lol. When was the last time you fished for bass on Pomme de Terre? It obvious not in the past few years. Largemouth bass are caught by the thousands per month by bass fishermen! 2015 was better than 2014, and 2016 was better than 2015, and judging by two tournaments we've fished there in the past 16 days, there are now more limits caught and more fisherman whom I fish with there, by far!!! This from a guy that for 8 or 9 months every year since 2014 has fished the lake and average of 4 times a week. Check your source because it's obvious to anyone who read your post, you don't have a grasp on reality as far as Pomme. It's better there than Table Rock or Lake of the Ozarks as far as fish caught and averages these past 3 years! Randman011 Bass Fishing

hello, I got a old rv on a lot on pomme de terre, rr1 Flemington.,about a mile south of Coopers cove, and I fished it for bass only, hard since may or june of 2014. On Halloween day, 2016, I caught a 6.5lb+ a close to 4, and a near 3 and a not quite 2lbrs. All on the western arm, west banks, with a southwest breeze blowing into the slab rock or chunk rock areas of bank. In one 200 yard stretch I caught the 6.5 and the 4 lbrs, within about 10 minutes. All were caught on one bait, as were the next 2 nice keepers. total damage, 2 hours of fishing 4 keepers, 14.4 lbs.And that was from 12:30 to 2:45 with time off for lunch. Water temp, where I caught them, was 60-63 degrees, fished only main lake points or pockets.
