Thank you for the report but we will be fishing for bass I forgot to mention that. I'm not sure how that transfers from the type of fish you were catching.
Trying to decide where to go this weekend. Does anyone have a recent report for how things are going at Fellows the past week? Wondering about trying out Table Rock in Cape Fair, should be less pleasure boaters than Aunt's Creek had last weekend.
For this time of year though are you using a shaky head, carolina rig, wacky rig, or texas rig when you throw those colors? Or do you throw something different like a popper, jerkbait, crankbait, or spinnerbait?
What color of trick worm were you throwing? My dad and I are going to be headed over there Saturday and I have never been to that area before. Any suggestions would be great. I was told a Carolina rig and wobble head should work out that way. I wasn't sure what to put on the Carolina rig as I usually throw a texas rig, so I threw on a California 420 ol monster worm.
Does anyone have a more recent update on water clarity for Taneycomo? I'm hoping to fish around Rockaway tomorrow and wondering how dirty of water I need to be prepared for.
Thanks for the responses guys. Went out again on Memorial day with the rest of the county and stunk it up. Only put 2 in the boat from 7 to noon. One was on a green pumpkin shakey head the other on a green pumpkin craw. Didn't try to fish around the grass much. I'm not experienced in it but will have to try the next time I go out.
Does anyone know what kind of grass it is that is taking over fellows right now? Also does it hold fish or does it overtake everything and force them elsewhere? Tried to fish south arm yesterday and it was full of grass and didn't see any activity other than bait. Didn't have a bite in that area even with the low pressure. Couldn't find hardly any bass yesterday.
