I have caught some in the lake about 5 pounds. Ihave a friend who jug fishes for them on ledges and spring areas with live shad the bigest he has caught is 35.4 pounds from the Niangua arm of the lake. I have had better luck on the Osage River where I caught a 6 pounder last year while bass fishing. Hope this helps and good luck fishing.
