    A fly rod, a few poppers and sponge body spiders and some Bluegill willing to participate is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon I know of.

    Long time lurker here. I'm in the Mountain Home area in North central AR and I'll chase just about any fish that will bite, But my favorites will always be small mouth on a spinning rod or fly rod and Bluegill on an ultra light spinning rod or a 4 weight fly rod. I was drawn in here particularly by the excellent small mouth sub forum on this site.
