I am no city boy, probably closer to a red neck. Just looking for good fishing ,very few people and a place to buy beer. Worked in the Colorado prison system before retiring. The boat house is more important to me than the house that comes with it. I very much appreciate everyone's response to my question.

Thanks for everyone's response. I have no desire to be close to all the amenities. I did see some property on the internet that was located in Edwards which led me to posting my question. I live in Colorado so I really do not know much about the lake. If I can find a place somewhat remote and good fishing that would be great. I will continue to check on any additional posting. I am waiting for one of mine fix and flips to sell and then I will be looking for a realtor. thanks-john

I am thinking about buying a place on lake of the Ozarks. I would only be fishing and in hope of finding a remote area of the lake where fishing is good. I want my own boathouse and away from the tourist activities. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks John
