  7. I am posting this in a few places hoping for some information Looking for help/info I will be visiting the Branson area around the 10th of September. I am looking for information on crappie fishing. I live in AK and do not get to crappie fish anymore. I am looking for all information. Will they be biting at that time, are there places one can fish from the bank/pier for crappie, if a boat is needed what marina's do you all think is the best, baits, as when fishing in LA/FL always used minnows/crickets but I do not see them mentioned much on any forum, and any other information one can think of that might help. I have looked at Lilley landing and there prices seem fair. not sure just how close to Branson that is or what body of water it supports and the fish types in the water. I will have a vehicle so if there are other/better crappie fishing lakes I am willing to drive say a 75 miles or so to get there, as a break from a family reunion is always good :-). Also I do not do crowds well so off the path decent fishing would work better then good fishing but crowded but I will deal with whatever I have too. TIA to any and all that might respond with info. Take care and God Bless America
