Since it looks as if he is using Chrome, try clearing the browser cache. This resolves most browser related issues. Click on the 3 dots below the X where you click to close your browser. Select "More Tools" and then "Clear browsing data..." In the window that pops up select the "Basic" tab, in the drop down change it to "All Time" and check the 3 boxes. Keep in mind, this will clear your browsing history. So any sites that you visit frequently should be bookmarked to make getting back to them easier.
