You could also consider staying at Lilleys Landing and getting a guide through them, renting a boat or wade fishing below that dam 1-Youd avoid that chaos that is a trout park 2- Taneycomo is a much better fishery Good Luck!

I reached out to the Invasive species biologist in Arkansas a while back. Not much that I know of in Missouri but Arkansas has an established population in the white river system. I am intending to make a journey down that way sometime late spring early summer to see if I can get my hands on one

Strangest thing ever found while on the water????

A couple years ago I was duck hunting on the Big River and found a fireman's O2 tank and harness wrapped around a floating tree. When I went to grab it thought for sure I was about to pull up something else. Turns out it was stolen from the Cuba Volunteer fire dept along with a bunch of other stuff and must have been ditched.
