  1. [i have never been able to beat the old color 38.][i use the suspender religously at LOTO early spring V37.] I like the V62 & V63, Brown & green craw. What color is the 37 & 38?
  2. I hate to hear about a sunken boat and hope the boater's OK. As previously stated, be careful and dress accordingly. During deer season, I also spend some time bass fishing. I always layer with fleece or polyester. This year, I was fishing alone and fell out of the boat into 45 degree water. My life jacket floated me. My long johns and fleece shirts (3) and lambswool socks and lightweight goretex boots kept me warm. I swam with the boat over to the shoreline about 50 feet away and bailed it out. Then trolled back to the dock. I was soaked for 30 minutes total. Only my hands got cold as I had no gloves. That good quality clothing (and a God that loves me) is why I'm able to type this. And yes I've begun to pray more!
  3. Where is the shop? I've only been down there (Branson) twice. I'll be back in April. Last time we wandered around the new landing area in the 35 degree rain so I know where that is.
  4. So how do we find out about this book? Just email or call the previous info? Oh ya, I assume it's an info packed book on T Rock.
  5. After a day of canoeing and smallmouth on the Meramec River we walked up to the top of the hill and saw the tornado! We had about one minute to take cover before it passed over us. Taken from the Campbell Bridge, where Hwy N crosses the Meramec River. At 3:00 pm on 9-22-06. We went under the bridge, climbed up on the top of the concrete foundation and wrapped our arms around the support beams, our feet were up on the concrete also to avoid flying stuff. I hope I never get another photo opportunity that close again! Also, if you see a tornado and can't tell which way it's going, left or right, then it's coming at you. Thanks for the reminder Mikey, the fishing was good! The 3 of us landed (at least) 20 smallies, 20 largemouths, and a few goggle eyes. The half hour before the storm hit was the best, we had 3 triples and a few doubles during that time.
  6. I'm still on line, didn't win a darn thing!
  7. Haven't been to either. Planning on Table Rock in April. Is one better than the other, for bigguns & numbers. Also some April tactics would useful to know. Any helpful ideas are appreciated. Thanks for the ideas. I'll be at Big Cedar in long creek. Sounds like it will keep me & my jon boat busy!
