  1. @Quillback Nice fish , I’ve been going up river to get bites, fishing is tough right now. How deep are you fishing the C rig ?
  2. Interesting, seen them and I was wondering what they are. Thanks for the info.
  3. @Phil S most of the damage came from the Lake Fork Flutter spoon 5.5 but the River 2 sea world wide spoon 100 and Dixie Jet 1.5 ounce also caught one each
  4. @Dutch like @Quillback said if you can get one it’s such a fun fight. I’ve landed a few in the mid to hi 20s but that was my first in the 30s I hook up with.
  5. @Quillback haha that’s a great perspective, the fight was awesome, felt like my rod was going break a few times.
  6. Thanks got it corrected and uploaded the pics . Must of not saved it after uploading them.
  7. I’ve been wanting to get on a stripper bite and I finally ran into them today. Caught a few fish on the glide bait hi in the water column but after the sun got brighter the fish went Deep. I got on top of a school and started throwing spoons. I caught a nice wall eye and some nice stripper and probably my PB stripper. I tried netting it but didn’t fit and I probably took tension of the rod and came off. Im thinking it was approximately 35- 40 lbs. Such a fun bite catching them on spoons in deep water. I’ll need to buy a bigger net.
  8. @Mitch f thanks I appreciate the extra boost of confidence
  9. Thank you
  10. I live in Prairie Creek so I usually fish around there and from a kayak but decided to make the trip to Indian creek and fish out of my aluminum boat. I was on the water by 7 and left at noon. I caught 9 or 10 bass but should have been more like 15, my hook up to land ratio was really bad, not my best performance. I caught 2 on the drop shot robo worm, morning dawn color and and the rest on a wacky rig senko. Junebug has been my go to color this spring and has been getting a lot of bites. Also momentarily hooked one on a crankbait next to the boat but of course it came off. I fished shallow targeting lay down and rocky banks. Most of the bass I caught were small, the bigger ones are on the pictures. I’ll have to come back try again sometime soon.
