  1. Last year someone told me of a nice free program to shrink photo sizes so that I can post them. Done a lot of clean-up on my computer to run a couple games and must have deleted the program. Does anyone know of one to do it again? Have some pics Id like to show and need to shrink their size.
  2. The black backed, silver sided xstickbait looks familiar. Lost one just like it last fall, , good hunting!
  3. k, next question. What is one of my old graphs worth used, so that I might be able to aid in the purchase of a si unit? Anyone here possibly interested? Its a lxc 15 and I love to watch the fish on it.
  4. Don, I have a question. I have two Lcx 15's on my boat. Love using them for 2d deep fishing. Will a Side image graph work with this two units or will they interfere with each other. Thought of adding one. Or will it replace my older ones for deep bite. Which ones would be comparable to what I am use to. And lastly, if I purchase one, would u install it rear for looking while driving slow or on the Trolling M to watch while fishing?? Been reading some of the info on these and U are sounding like an advertisement
  5. Same for me flippin. Fished point 5 for 4 hours. One hit on a deep bite. That was it. Fished jerkbaits, crankbaits, grubbed the big docks, even went out and spooned.
  6. Thanks for the info eric. Let everyone know how it goes.
  7. I am looking for a bowflex or similar multi-exercise piece of equipement. Anyone have one collecting dust ud like to get rid of?
  8. Got some gift cards to use up. Going sunday. Was wondering what stickbait colors are the best for bass and/or walleye. Learned the dropshot last year, as best as I can fish it, thanks to beck for the tips. But this year im going to work on this stickbait that everyone seems to love. Would also like to work them on some walleye when they run. What has everyone had luck on?
  9. My thoughts also. going saturday. Thanks for the great update. but one question, havent heard of beardsley, where would that be??
  10. If we are telling stories on ourselves, I was with my father when I was 15. We were moving, as I was on the trolling motor, and was just getting on plane when the nose of the old '78 ranger dropped down and the trolling motor started hitting the water. In the huge spray of water, my father could not get off the throttle and with in 3 seconds the trolling motor was ripped of the front and disappeared. Bad news, fishing was done for the day, Good news he bought a brand new one that put the old one to shame.
  11. Hunting seasons over for me, Im back. Wackem, I got on a summer pattern a few years ago, before I had blacklights, that was simple and very effective. I run from lighted boat dock to lighted boat dock. started with spinnerbaits all around (shallow by the ramp was always the best) then switched to a grub or jig to probe for the more docile ones. even had some luck on a black spook. anyways, it was a start and worked well. I now have two blacklights, front and back, and some small led lights low in the gunnel that can be used for tying and unhooking fish. works like a charm. If u enjoy the night time bite id sure invest in some. I havent tried the new ones but im sure someone on here has and will chime in. The best time ever is to hook a huge fish on a jig in the dark, enjoy the long fight, and realize at the boat that its a 32 lb. Flathead.....
  12. wheres this place at?
  13. Nice info Don, Thanks. Never thought of it like that.
  14. had a thought, figured Id run it by the pros on here. I dont bait fish much, but was wondering. Would a shiner on a drop shot rig work well for the suspended fish that are waiting on shad to come by??? Never heard of anyone using them. We all know crawlers work but how many times does a bass or white see a worm in 30 foot of water over a 50 foot bottom. Just a Thought.
  15. Wonderful reports. Lake wide, u the man!!!!!!!!!
  16. great wachem, Ill go and try the Kc area next, went to point five the other evening and didnt get much. was looking for schooling fish mostly on top and nothing.
  17. Looks like a regular copperhead to me. Fathers found 4 this year already.
  18. K, thought Id start a night fishing topic to see if anyone has had any luck. Post any and everything anyone can. Went last night for 3 hours after dark, toke my boy. We only got two to the boat, both short. Didnt really get into it as much as id liked but we were having a lot of fun. Nice and Quite after all the pleasure crafters had went to bed. All were caught on Nightcrawlers, as we were looking for a couple of cats as well.
  19. U to whackem
  20. If u can wait a couple of years, crappie will be truely thick with the spawn they have had this year. Normally I catch a lot of them on the james and kings, didnt chase them this year after the flood. Caught couple dozen before it all went up. SKMO is right, with a very limited catch this year by the majority of people that normally catch them, size and quality should be up great next year also. TRs main problem in my mind is how hard the good areas get here. Ive seen boats every 100 feet when they are spawning in the james and close to that in the kings. They are easier to fish (productive) than the clear main lake and the fish get punnished for it. But, they come back every year. And this year, they were mainly left alone
  21. Rainbow Trout in the Lower Lake?? Never heard of that in TR. Interesting. Think it was pushed down from white river headwaters under Dam?
  22. Had a friend have the same issue. exactly. If it was working fine and just started, somethings has changed.
  23. U know, I havent been yet. Ill try to make it out tonight and try some things. The boy and I are going camping for an evening so we will try it out. Post back tomorrow.
  24. I know there will be some guys that know a lot more bout this than me but ill ask the oncoming ?s. Is your graph power hooked in to your trolling motor power? Where is your Transducer?
  25. DITTO MARTIN, I try to help when its something that I know about, but Ive learned TOONNNNSSSS more than Ive given out. Thanks to all the boys on here, Large and Small.
