  10. Missouri is not a riparian rights state. From the way I understand the law as long as you are in a boat you are legal. Put your foot on the bottom of the stream and you are trespassing. Does not sound right to me but

  14. This scares the hell out of me. Politics has no business being involved in MDC. Just follow the money on this legislation and I think we will see where this is coming from and why it should be stopped.
  15. Has anyone treated their boots as recomended by MDC and then used them? I'm curious as to how they perform after treatment.
  16. From the way I understand it Arkansas is a riparian rights state, Missouri is not. So in Missouri this means you can float a stream but as soon as you touch the bottom of the stream with your foot you are trespassing. I was not aware of this until recently, an MDC employee informed me of this. Still not sure though, just does not seem right to me that someone could own a stream.
  17. Generation is on demand, so if Texas needs power all of a sudden(maybe its cold and they need the extra power)all bets are off and they turn on more generators. Keep in mind Table Rock supplies 5 states, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas with power. Note almost nothing for Missouri. This is why projections from 6pm the night before are almost meaningless.
  18. Here is a link to MDC that covers the felt sole issue http://mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/mdc-bans-porous-soled-waders-help-protect-trout-waters-invasive-algae There is a link to a video that describes how to treat felt soles to make them legal
