  5. I would also like to see some baitfish streamer patterns.. or other baitfish recipes
  6. How far down really is the water? Last summer me and my grandpa were running way up into turnback creek catching whites and crappie. Seemed like the water stayed fairly runable and not to shallow until you got back up by the bridge over turnback creek. I have an assortment of rogues and jerkbaits, but plan to go to Bass Pro for some shad-raps or wiggle warts. Should i stick with the normal depths or go for some deep divers. I travel to Canada every year for a fishing trip and always seem to do really well on a 4 inch black slider worm on a lead head. Plan on trying that a little bit, walleye seemed to like it up North because it resembled a leech. Anyways, will let you know how the trip went and appreciate all the info. and helping me out.
  7. When you talk about the CC bridge, you mean the Greenfield Access Right? Me and a buddy were going to go down there this weekend to check on the walleye but i guess some people have already decided to do that. Since we cant put in a boat, we were going to take a canoe and a 4.5 hp motor and go up and down the bluffs. Haven't really caught to many walleye in Missouri, but will let you know how the trip goes. Any advice on baits/techniques would be helpful. thanks
  8. I have never been fishing on tanecomo other than with my fly rod. My buddy is comeing in from Iraq and his dad want me to take them crappie fishing and trout fishing...but i want them to catch some fish so any tips...for the trout fishing?

  13. Phil I was wondering where the Fly Recipe's forum went..? Is it down for upgrade? or has it moved to a different page?
  14. Yes indeed the Rapala is what we were using the night my buddy brought this in....
  15. We were fishing right before the rebar hole, using Rapala gold or silver 3"-4" minnows at night with spinning rods.
  16. One night in December my buddy and I were fishing, and he managed to fight this momma in.
  17. Yea, I noticed the water was pretty dirty today when I went out, only caught 5 in a couple hours. Is this Jeremy Rasnick? Its Levi, but anyway Ill cya out there on the water sometime.
  18. When I went home this week, I mentioned to my father about this Roo bug and how it’s hard to find Roo hair and he laughed. I said "what" he said "that’s funny because I have three hides in the shop", he clipped me off a pretty good sized piece tan and gray in color. So maybe if you guys ever get the chance to come to Jeremy’s Fly tying class we might be able to make some Roo-Bugs.
  19. thanks guys
  20. Hey kind of a dumb question, but how do I get my picture to appear on the left hand side of the posts when I reply?
  21. Hey guys, I haven’t been after the crappie in a couple weeks because of school, but the reports look good. I was wondering how long this crappie action is going to last. Will it last into middle of February? Because my buddy is coming back from Iraq and he wants me to take him, so I was hoping they were still going to be biting.
  22. Went to Jeremy's class this past tuesday with a buddy of mine. As soon as we walked in we began laughing. Hes a great instructor and will help you with anything from something simple to anything you can think of. Bring your vise because he will teach you easier steps than you might already know. I was able to take pictures of him , during step by step instructions on certian flies. I think these pics will be posted on his website, www.taneycomotrout.com along with Phils, at Lilleys Landing. Anyway if you havent even begun tying yet still come to see how amazing this guy is. I plan on attending the class every tues. so hopefully I'll meet some new faces.
  23. I m supprised you only caught 8, i was also out there wed. morning till about 1 or 2 and had 12 in the boat. i moved around alot, but then i gave up fighting the wind. Then thur. after noon i went out and caught my limit just before dark. I woke up early Fri. morning and hit it again and it was COLD!! but we ended at 11 am with 10 so it wasnt that bad of a day. Then again last night me and a buddy went in the after noon and ended up catching 8 at dark. My luck has been along the trees on mud flats in about 10ft. casting past the stump and bringing it in pretty slow..now that college starts tomorrow for me I dont know when ill be back out.. I might go before classes on mon, wed, fri depends on the conditions. Still using the same orange and white colors to bring em in the boat.. but good luck and ill cya out there.

We came back and moved around, ended up ending the day at 1 with 35 crappie. Tomorrow ill be back out in the morining looking for another eventful day. All i can say is white and orange 1/16 oz.
