Jerod - i will most likely have to take you up on that offer.. i love any fishing and i started out on bluegill and perch when i was really young so would be fun.. they are fun if they are big enough and would be good practice for the flyin

Bass pro has a beginers kit that is rod and reel and line and a couple flies for $50 i know its not the best and wont last for a super long time but is it worth it since im just wanting to start gettin into it... we spend most of our time drift fishin but have wanted to start fly fishing.. i learned how a long time ago but have never really gone and done much of it since i learned.. is this a decent kit to start??? and can you fly from shore up by the darn?? or do you have to have waders??
thanks

yeah really sad to hear this.. almost surprised there isnt more accidents due to the severe cold water.. we had a guy fall out of a boat right next to the dock cause his dad hit the dock during heavy flow.. but he was barely under water and somehow sprung right back up and out and ran up to his cabin and got warmed back up and still came back out on the boat later

yeah trav trust me in the last 10+ years of fishin taney with a basic weight 18 inchs from the power bait i have tied enough line to be a master of tyin no catchin lol hence why i keep botherin the likes of you and Phil and others on here to find out how to catch more and spend more time "fishing" not tying lol
im looking for the best fishing non trophy area so where ever.. we stay at trout hollow and usually float to about downtown but like i said all my group uses corn or power bait and SMALL hooks.. i want bigger fish and am willin to not catch "as many".. i wanna win the tourney but more about good fishing.. im in it for the sport and the spoils are bonus lol
thanks all
