  5. What if I only make 1 to 2 mile runs? I had to replace the stater last year.
  6. I have been having the same problem with my humminbird 1197. But not with my lowrance x17. After a fully charged new battery, it just takes a litte time and the voltage on the hummingbird to drop to 11.6 or lower. I have to charge the starting battery almost every day where if I only use the x-17 I can go a week before charging. I cant get anyone to tell me whats the problem.
  7. Yes its full of water about a foot deep and about 2 feet 50 yards from the bank. Three feet more of water would double the area for fish to hold in from the 6 mile marker down to powersite. When they they have the level a 701 all of that area fishes like a cesspool
  8. How about 8 or 9 ft. of rock and concrete on top of powersite dam. That would give a little more depth to both ends. Sure could use more depth on the bottom end for the native fish in this lake. There are miles of unfishable water on the lower end.

Forsythian, why don't you try that new launch ramp at the end of MM instead of K Dock? The way it looked from the lake, high water wouldn't be any problem there. The new one just won't work in low water, 'cause at 653 it's only 3 feet deep all around it. Dont go in MM unless u have 4wheel drive, the rock they put in the new ramp area and parking lot is loose and deep. Forsythian, I was in Yocum Creek off of M Hwy.

  16. What are the best options for a tow vehicle? Want to find something in the 2002 to 2004 range. I have a 193 champion, single axle trailer with a surge brake. I dont know if a mid size or a full size v8 will do. Want to fish some ares that dont have a cement ramp. Concerned about the weight to pull my boat out safely. Thanks for any help

  19. 1/48 oz chartreuse and blue jig, fish were shallow, 4 ft only one keeper, cant find the larger females yet.
  20. No mine is white.
  21. Trav, what time were you out? When I went by your dock @ 1pm your boat was there. Found big bass but couldn't see if they were on beds. All were up shallow.
  22. Went to Bull Creek again. Water 62 and muddy, lots of current. Caught 16 bass and 5 crappie. All bass on a sticko slim, junebug & watermellon red. Largest was 3.9oz, best 5, 16.6oz best day for weight for myself ever. Cruddy weather but lots fun.
  23. Trav, caught one really nice one while looking for crappie. Had a decent crappie also. The water by the island was clear, you could see the bottom in 6 feet of water. Noticed a lot of timber on the bottom. Don't know if it was there before.
  24. Caught 12 bass in 62 degree water in Bull Creek. Water was a lot clearer up near the island. Most on a sticko slim, watermelon with purple flakes, with a small split shot for a head. largest fish was about 2 3/4.
