anyone seen the 200.00 lots selling on ebay for truman lake. don't remember the dimensions but they are full price auctions not the down payment ones. think you could have a lot up there for around 350 or 400 after fees.. anyone checked this out?

i was kinda wondering the same. if the kits for under 200.00 you see on cabelas will keep a battery charged with the radio on.. there has been a numerous amount of times that i have went to start the boat up on the river and the battery is dead from the radio playing all day. i know it won't keep up with it when i have my amp and subs on,but with normal float fishing background music or baseball game...maybe???

i see lots of old times come into the hospital and clinic that claim WD40 works on joint pain.. also see a few that rub their entire body down with kerosene daily to keep infection away.. you can always tell when this one family is at the doc cause the entire place smells like a lantern lol.

just glanced at the dang weather for tue wed thur of next week when i am coming over and saw the wonderful white stuff on prediction. guess the bass will have to put their snow faces on.

my buddy just got stationed at ramstein air force base in germany.. he is a big fishin guy like me and everyone on here, and he was wanting me to find out if there is any places to fish around there.. would have to be wade fishing or bank fishing. thought some of the military guys or travelers might know some spots i could pass on to him.

you could always name it damnit... cause you are just going to be saying that ahead of its name for the first 6months

just bought 3 colors of the x rap. a few rouges, and a good selection of craws lizards and worms.. all darker colors.. some purples have heard in winter darker plastics work better... so anyway can't wait to get over there.. one week left.. by the way i see they are calling for freakin snow during the time i am going to be there.. sucks maybe bass and crappie like the snow

well i guess i will be getting a crap load of junk mail.. as long as they send cool stickers i guess thats ok. the wife send the envelope in this morning when i was asleep... work up at 5 tonight and read all the bad things about this and told her to throw it away, and she said she mailed it this morn.. oh well.. could be worse i guess.

they were aggressive yesterday... i would cast upstream and let drift at the edge of the current / back water.. stripping up the slack in the line and you would just see the line take off.. also i fish a few still holes where i was stripping and they were chasing the flys like july panfish

went up right below cedar grove this morning... got there about 7:30 and it was cloudy and darn outside... river was up a foot or 2 and was murkey... the first cast landed a 12" rainbow.. thought that was strange... between 7:30 and 8:30 i already landed over 10 fish... fished for about 2 more hours and probably caught close to 20 fish... they were biting anything that moved. but i was using a white bugger type streamer.. ended up keeping my 4 for the hot grease.. biggest one was a little over 17" smallest around 8" had a great time.. felt like i was on taney when it is hot not the current..

just wondering when i come over in mid feb if the walleye are biting and how to fish for them on the lake?? i troll for them in 8-12' of water on the current and catch a lot of em..

so was the bird left for dead or does anyone know if it was saved or not

lol yeah i just bought this thing through ebay and paid nothin for it.. i would rather be stayin at lilleys. can't get any better than his place in my opinion.. but she wants something "romantic" for valentines day... crap the only thing romantic she wants in my debit card and a pass at the malls lol.. atleast she has our 6month old to tag along that may help slow her down some lol.... i think that is in the wilderness club where our room is... not sure on the difference but i know thats what it says on our reservations... i have only been on table rock once.. so what part of the lake is that on so i can check out lilley's kick butt maps to find out where i am going hey lilley... could you go burn that place down so we could come see you again and i can use my ebay vacation for the beach like i planned :D :D :Thumb:

also if anyone knows the lake well and wants to tag along let me know between now and then... will probably be fishin early a.m. these days. have plenty of room for 2 i have been a river fisherman my whole life but lakes kinda throw me for a loop every now and then..

hey guys. the wife decided to use some of our timeshare points to come to big cedar for valentines day.. she said i could bring the boat and fish while she shops if i wanted... is there any use fishing the lake in mid feb???? if so what are biting and where... never been on this part of the lake at all so any pointers would be taken well.. or should i just drive to a public access on taneycomo and trout fish?

really lookin for a used flat bottom... if i am going to buy a new one i will buy another blazer SS cause that is what our 18x56 boat and i love it... but on upper current you really don't want a nice nice boat cause you will bump the bottom often

would be be possible to get close to it.. could you get some tranks in like with a heavy gauge needle and go get the bird and take to him and he could atleast give it fluids and keep it sedated until bird people let him know what to do with it?

throughout this gigging season, i have noticed more and more goggleye on shoals. used to i would see them on rocky banks and under logs, but every time i go out on jacks fork, the shoals are covered with them... could this be due to night feeding or do they go to the shoals during winter? if thats so, anyone ever catch any during winter in the shallows?

My buddy and I are wanting to float from cedar grove to akers one day... instead of lugging my canoe around that i am wanting to trade for a kayak anyway.. I was wondering if you think you could float it ok in a 14x36 johnboat. I have been all over in this little boat and i figured the luxury of having a trolling motor might be nice. just wondering if you thought we could make the float in the little boat ok. also.. do you think 250.00 for a 1 yr old pretty much brand new pelican pursuit 100 dlx kayak is a good deal... comes with all the goodies. has one storage in the back.
