    I currently have the standard pedestal seats in my 16 ft bass boat and I am looking at swapping out my front pedestal seat for a bell pedestal seat. My problem with the pedestal seat I have now is that the fiberglass is breaking away from the base, I figure this is because I am a pretty big guy and its putting a lot of weight on a very small area. Does anyone know if installing a bell pedestal seat will help at all? Thanks ahead of time for any input.

    I was in a crappie tournament on Saturday and took 3rd with 3 crappie, 2nd had 4, and first had 9. I was fishing between mutton hollow and CC in the timber.

    For Christmas I received a Cabela's $50 gift card, I live in Carthage, MO and the closest Cabela's for me is in Kansas City. I do not make it up to KC very often so I would like to either sell this card for $40, free shipping, or trade it for another gift such as bass pro, wal-mart, etc. Thanks.

    My partner for the tournament this weekend dropped out on me at the last minute, looking for someone else to go with me. I have a 16 ft bass boat with a 115 horse motor. I would like to find someone that would split fuel on the boat and the entry fee. I will be coming from Carthage so if anyone in this area would like to go I could pick them up or meet them somewhere.     Thanks for the tips guys. Thats what I was kind of figuring from some of the pictures I have seen but just wanted to be for sure. Just gives me another excuse to buy another boat haha

    I fish taneycomo quite a bit and I am wondering if there are any places on the white river I would be able to fish using my bass boat. Most people I talk to that fish the white are using small flat bottom or john boats with small outboard motors. I have a 16 ft bass boat with a 115 HP outboard, are there any locations on the white that I could safely navigate with this large of a boat and be able to get to some decent holes? Thanks in advance!

    I am going down to roaring river today through the 4th and I am taking my boat with me. I was thinking of fishing down around where roaring river empties into table rock lake, anyone have much experiance doing this? I caught a nice rainbow in the kings river arm while crappie fishing in april so I thought I might try trout fishing where the river flows into table rock lake. Thanks in advance.

    Me and the women are going down late on the 29th (I have to buy an iPhone this evening) and will be there through the 4th. We will be in campground 3, site 165, if anyone wants to drop by. I am also bringing the boat, probably go out to table rock a day or two. Speaking of table rock, has anyone done much trout fishing where roaring river and table rock meet up? Any suggestions? I was crappie fishing back in april in the kings river arm an nailed a very nice size rainbow, was suprised it was that far out of the stream.

    I bought my first fly rod this weekend and went down to Roaring River and had a blast on monday. I am wondering what flies and colors I should get to start out my fly tackle. I bought some olive, white, and chartrouse wolly boogers and some green ants on monday and had pretty good luck. I will be mostly fishing on Taneycomo, Roaring River, Bennett Springs, and Capps Creek. Thanks in advacne.

    I would think it would be hard tracking down a damaged boat with damage only in the areas you want to get rid of. Most damaged boats I have seen have either transom damage or bow damage.

    Thanks so much for everyones help in my last post, I went ahead and purchased a Magellan eXplorist 500 LE. I am now wanting your suggestions on what lake mapping software I should use. Thanks ahead of time.

    I went ahead and bought a Magallen eXplorist 500 LE, I was able to find some good reviews for it on the internet and it was about the cheapest color unit I was able to find that had the SD card capability. What do you guys think about the Magallen units? What mapping software should I purchase?

    How about the Garmin® GPSMAP® 76 GPS Unit, i noticed that it does not look like it has a SD card slot but it has pretty good reviews on basspro's website. Is it worth the extra money to get one with the SD card slot?
